Our short film, Candyland, will be screening at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival on November 5 at 2:45pm before the horror feature, The Harrowing.
From the Buffalo Dreams Facebook page:
"Sun 11/5 at 2:45 pm Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival is proud to present the NYS premiere of The Harrowing (Horror/Thriller, US, 125m), a superior and adult horror film in which a troubled cop goes undercover in a mental institution to prove the existence of demons. Co-starring the great Michael Ironside (Scanners) and Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy). Q&A with writer-director Jon Keeyes, who last visited us to screen Nightmare Box, and producer/star Matthew Tompkins.
We are also proud to precede The Harrowing with the short film
Candyland (Drama, US, 11 mins): Mean girls, designer jeans, lessons learned on the schoolyard field in 1983. This is not a horror film. It may seem like an odd film to pair with our feature, but there is a theme: the director, James Felix McKenney (The Off Season, Automatons) is an indie artist who cannot be pigeonholed, just like Jon Keeyes. We're delighted to have both filmmakers in the same block, as well as writer/co-producer Lisa Wisely."
See you there!
